Theory Class
All children in grades 1-12 attend 7 theory classes
offered throughout the year. Each theory class lasts 50
minutes. Each student will receive music theory
books, which will be worked on during class. All theory
books will remain at the Conservatory until completed.
Transfer students must make arrangements
to take a placement test. Results will be posted in
the lobby and lists will be given to your teacher.
Once a student s level is determined, you may choose
your schedule.
These are the dates of the 7
classes. Please note that each
class meets twice: the first
Saturday in the morning, the
second Saturday in the afternoon.
Each child needs to
attend only one of the two days
offered for each class.
These are the times eack book level will meet for each of the above
dates. Find your child s book level, then choose the time that is most
convenient
