Group Instruction
Conservatory Children’s Choir (CCC)
The Conservatory Children’s Choir is for children ages 7-14, wishing to learn
vocal training in an ensemble setting. Offering a wide range of musical genres
from diverse cultures & traditions, the CCC fosters creativity, social interaction,
& an exceptional musical experience. The CCC has an active performance
schedule including local events like gallery crawls & Rochester’s Big Bright
Light Show, to charity events like Lighthouse of Oakland County & senior
residence homes, to pre-concert
performances at the Palace of
Auburn Hills & Broadway shows
at the Fisher Theatre in Detroit.
Conservatory String Ensemble (CSE)
Proud to be in our second
year, the Conservatory String
Ensemble was formed to provide
string students, ages 9-16, a
quality ensemble experience.
The CSE fosters a creative
environment where students
receive an outstanding music
education. The CSE performs
1-2 recitals per semester.
Group Piano Class
5-6 year olds, with adult companion present for final 15 minutes of the 60 minute class
Piano class introduces keyboard skills in
a fun group atmosphere. Piano Classes
allow for concentrated study of note
reading, rhythm, music symbols, sight
reading and listening. While similar to
individual study, students have the added
benefit of having fun with friends while
learning.

Adult Piano Class
Adults, ages 21+, Welcome to
Recreational Music Making! Previous
music experience & perceived talent are
not required! This non-stressful, nonpressured
approach provides a relaxing
and comfortable environment for learning
and active music-making. Learn to play in
multiple Keys, harmonize simple
melodies, and sight read.
