Rochester Conservatory of Music Musikgarten
Musikgarten is a revolutionary early childhood music education program designed to help children from birth to 6 grow musically, as well as emotionally, socially and cognitively.
Musikgarten materials may include tapes or CDs, take-home activities, instruments, games, posters or books. Musikgarten is available in two 15-week semesters. Each class must have a minimum of 6 students up to a maximum of 10. Tuition for Musikgarten is payable in two payments, one per semester, due September 1 and January 15.
Your teacher will call you the week before class starts to confirm your enrollment.
Family Music For Toddlers
Wed. – 9:15am-9:45am
The Cycle of Seasons The Cycle of Seasons draws its central themes from nature and aims to bring the family into the music, movement, and environmental experience. Activities will include movement, singing, playing instruments, creative drama, children’s literature, and listening.
Wed.– 10:00am-10:45am All Together Now All Together Now classes offer families with more than one child in this age group the opportunity to attend music class together. The classes are filled with a great variety of music and movement activities to meet children’s developmental needs, to hold the children’s interest in the group setting, and to bring families together.
Sat. – 10:00am-10:45am Music Makers Music Makers builds on the experiences of The Cycle of Seasons, therefore we recommend new 4 year olds just beginning their musical study attend the Cycle of Seasons classes first. Music Makers presents activities for music development including listening, singing and chanting, movement, ensemble work, playing instruments, ear training, reading and writing, and musical games.
